During the summer months feel free to relax by the pool in our garden with a traditional Kentish cream tea prepared by Sue, a fully qualified chef. Evening meals are also served with fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden.

The small patio and ornamental fish pond are quiet places to relax or you can take a stroll around the flowers. With all these features there is still plenty of space for campers to pitch their own tents, as we have outdoor toilet and shower facilites.

The aviaries house a variety of beautiful birds and we also have two friendly Shih Tzu’s, Jasper and Mischief.

The Garden Lodge has guaranteed private parking and secure storage for bicycles and motorcycles. Motorcyclists and contractors always welcome at the Garden Lodge. Wireless internet available for £5 per day with your own laptop PC.

Our solar heated swimming pool is available during summer months. We also have ground floor rooms.

Guests are invited to share our family lounge which has a beautiful inglenook fireplace.

Full restaurant service is available at Garden Lodge. Open to residents and non-residents, our beautiful restaurant provides a happy, informal family atmosphere for all your meals. The proprietress is a Member of the Cookery and Food Association and the Craft Guild of Chefs.

Dinner served between 18.00 - 19.30 and tables must be reserved. Dishes feature fresh vegetables and fruit grown in Garden Lodge's own garden as well as meats and fish bought fresh from local suppliers. Cakes, pastries, chutneys and preserves are all homemade. We are not licensed, but guests are welcome to bring their own wine to accompany their meals and we will be happy to serve it to them in the restaurant, at no extra charge.

Full English breakfast is served from 07:15 to 08:45 and for early risers cold breakfasts can be ordered. For our guests on the go, packed lunches are available if ordered at the time of initial booking.
